What We’ve Accomplished Together

Discover how Q.LEAP’s Research Training Platform is redefining what research can do in Bangladesh—moving beyond papers to real-world change. Through mentorship-driven fellowships, community-based studies, and policy labs, we equip emerging scholars, practitioners, and civil servants to turn data into decisions, insights into action, and ideas into impact. From climate resilience in coastal unions to governance reforms in urban municipalities, our researchers don’t just observe society—they help reshape it. Every project is co-designed with communities, institutions, and global partners to ensure relevance, rigor, and results.

“Training that turns inquiry into influence. Explore our research initiatives—each rooted in local realities, from environmental justice to youth-led governance. Our fellows don’t just publish; they propose, pilot, and partner for progress.”

Platform Overview

How we’re building a new culture of evidence-based transformation. By connecting academic curiosity with public purpose, RT ensures that research serves people—not just journals. Through hybrid training, field immersion, and international collaboration, we prepare researchers to ask the right questions, listen deeply, and deliver solutions that policymakers, educators, and communities can actually use.

Applied Policy & Social Inquiry

We train researchers to investigate real challenges—disaster preparedness, youth unemployment, ethical governance—and produce actionable recommendations, not just analysis.

Community-Led Knowledge Creation

From village focus groups to urban youth councils, we center community voices in every study—ensuring research is co-owned, culturally grounded, and ethically conducted.

Global-Local Research Alliances

Through partnerships with AIT Thailand, UN agencies, and national ministries, we connect Bangladeshi researchers to global networks—enabling co-authored studies, joint fellowships, and cross-border learning.

Highlight Features

Programs deliver measurable contributions to policy, practice, and public discourse. We don’t just train researchers—we launch changemakers. Discover how fellows have influenced national disaster protocols, co-designed green skills curricula, and published with international collaborators on inclusive development.

The Results

Over 30 applied research projects completed in the past two years; 12 policy briefs submitted to government bodies; 8 co-authored publications with global partners. The “Youth-Led Climate Resilience Study” informed DYS’s national youth engagement strategy. Our fellowship with AIT Thailand produced a comparative framework on disaster governance now used in Q.LEAP’s APT curriculum.
